Not quite what I expected as it basically starts at the Battle of the Bulge By David Ecale This is a good writeup of the destruction of the premier Waffen SS unit of WW2. I had expected a complete history, however, for its limited approach starting at the Battle of the Bulge, it does a yeoman job. I'll see if there aren't some other books that cover the earlier periods.

Excellent By Angelman61 As a student of history I found this book to be very clear and concise in explaining this units last year of existence "battles". It would be great reading if the rest of the SS units last year of battles were explained in detail like this one was. Very good informative reading I believe all would enjoy as I did.
