"A remarkably successful book on a fascinating subject, well organized and well written." —Time's Literary SupplementFrom the thirteenth to the sixteenth centuries, outlaws reigned supreme on the contentious frontier between England and Scotland. Feud and terror, raid and reprisal were the ordinary stuff of life—and a way of survival. Power was held by the notorious border reivers (the “steel bonnets,” named for their flashy helmets), clan-loyal raiders, freebooters, plunderers, and rustlers who robbed and murdered in the name of family: the famous clans—like Elliot, Armstrong, Charlton, and Robson—romanticized by Sir Walter Scott. They were the last opponents to the Acts of Union of 1707, and fought fiercely and fancifully to the end.In The Steel Bonnets, George MacDonald Fraser, author of the bestselling Flashman novels and himself a borderer, takes us back through three centuries of conflict, telling the fascinating and bloody story of the reivers. He relates their rise to power as ferocious soldiers on horseback, their important roles in the battles at Flodden and Solway Moss, and their surprisingly sudden fall from grace. The Steel Bonnets is a superb work of serious history and scholarship that is as irresistibly compelling as any novel.Skyhorse Publishing, as well as our Arcade imprint, are proud to publish a broad range of books for readers interested in history--books about World War II, the Third Reich, Hitler and his henchmen, the JFK assassination, conspiracies, the American Civil War, the American Revolution, gladiators, Vikings, ancient Rome, medieval times, the old West, and much more. While not every title we publish becomes a New York Times bestseller or a national bestseller, we are committed to books on subjects that are sometimes overlooked and to authors whose work might not otherwise find a home.

Thorough, well-structured, and entertaining By Mike Christie Until England and Scotland were united under a single king in March 1603, the border between them was, unsurprisingly, a natural place for strife and disorder. The two countries had been at war intermittently for centuries, and many armies had passed back and forth across the border counties. Fraser's history covers the last hundred years of the border, from 1503 to 1603, a period during which the decayed (and astonishingly corrupt) administration could never cope with the local gangs -- known as "reivers" -- who terrorized the district with cattle theft, murder, and arson. The book is very well-organized. Fraser starts with a few pages on the long historical background, then takes about half the book to cover the reivers by topic: chapters on arms and armour; on reiving technique; on the key families and their alliances; on cross-border relations; on the administrative structure. Fraser gives a lot of details, and plenty of quotes from the original sources (with the original spellings!).This painstaking coverage sets up the second half of the book perfectly: one hundred and forty pages that cover the history of the border chronologically through the sixteenth century. With the details in hand, the second half is easy to follow and put in context; the writing is also clear and entertaining. The last section of the book details the uncompromising way in which King James I destroyed the reivers in a few short years after 1603. It is a startlingly bloodthirsty story: Fraser includes quotes from blanket pardons that King James issued to some of his enforcers, which essentially say "whatever murders you did, I'm sure it was in a good cause, and you're absolved".There are separate chapters on some of the most famous events, notably the raid on Carlisle Castle that freed Kinmont Willie. Fraser is at some pains to dispel the romantic ideas that cling to stories of the borderers -- as he points out, they were essentially a Mafia, with little of Robin Hood about them. It's clear, though, that he finds their adventurousness and style endearing and fascinating; and he writes about them so well that you are likely to feel the same way.

The second big town of the border area other than Berwick. My father is from Longtown, Cumbria which is right next to the debateable land and I have the last name of Crozier. This book was like reading about my own history and explained a whole lot of things about my home town and the people I grew up with. Just in my neighborhood, there were Armstrongs, Taylors, Littles, Nixons, Grahams and many other Reiver names. This is a very scholarly book and exceptionally well written. The author must have done an incredible amount of research to put this together. I read it twice, the second time noting how many references to Croziers(Crosers) there were. My father's family name is in there 26 times. Along with the Armstrongs, Nixons and Eliots, we were considered the worst of the worst of the reivers. Maybe not something to be proud of, but interesting. According to my mother(God rest her soul)her paternal grandfather was the illegitmate son of the Duke of Buccleugh(you'll hear a lot about the Scotts of Buccleugh, many of whom had the same name of Walter, including the famous one), so I have Reiver blood from there too. Fascinating book especially if you have a surname that might go back to that part of the world and those times. What I have written here is just a taste of the whole book. A little heavy going at times, but so good that I have read it twice already and now use it as a research tool.

45 of 45 people found the following review helpful. Readable and relevant By David Packer MacDonald Fraser brings to the history of the Anglo-Scots border reivers all the exuberance and attention to detail that made his name in the Flashman novels. Readers looking for more gloriously politically-incorrect adventures from the Victorian age won't find them here, but this book does repay the extra effort needed from the reader. The Steel Bonnets is the most entertaining yet informative serious works of history I have read. The story of the Anglo-Scots border is a complex and a bloody one. MacDonald Fraser manages to understand, without condoning, the hard men who fought and died, rode and raided across the border between the kingdoms of England and Scotland. He untangles the knotted threads of their family ties and feuds and reveals their part in the wider relations between England and Scotland prior to the union of the Crowns in 1603. He dives into the dusty depths of the written records and brings them back to us red in tooth and claw. At a time when the border between England and Scotland looks as though it may become an international, rather than a domestic border once more, this book should be of relevence to all with an interest in and love of these two nations.

In Cuba - Awakening from the Past, photojournalist Michal McClure captures life in Fidel Castro's Cuba with his insightful documentary photographs and accompanying writings. To understand the Cuba of today McClure takes the reader back to the Soviet Union in 1963 when Castro undertook his 40-day "victory tour" at the invitation of the Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev. Castro was the Soviet's new revolutionary hero with his transformation of Cuba into a communist/socialist country. McClure was also in the Soviet Union (with his camera) in 1963 as a graduate Russian language student. In 2011, McClure went to Cuba as an independent photojournalist where he met and photographed a broad cross section of Cubans: doctor, student, government official, farmer, small businessman, and shop clerk. He also interviewed a former Castro guerrilla, and the retired photographer for Che Guevara and Fidel Castro. He saw how the Cuban people lived under the communist/socialist system with its incredible economic and governmental restraints while maintaining their unique Cuban spirit. Equally important, he found an awakening of hope for a new and better tomorrow. As the U.S. and Cuba establish stronger ties and American tourism in Cuba increases, McClure writes about the major obstacles to be overcome for the Cubans to begin experiencing the benefits of capitalism and democracy. The book's photographs, in addition to McClure's, are from noted Magnum photographers Henri Cartier-Bresson, Burt Glinn, and Semyour Raskin, along with Perfecto Romero, Che Guevara's photographer during the Cuban revolution.

Review

"The book's commentary is fascinating and the photographs are simply superb ...a true work of art." Robert Cochran -Emmy award winning executive producer, and co-creator of the TV series "24."

"I read this beautiful and thought-provoking book about Cuba cover to cover last night. I think this is one of the most interesting books I have read on Cuba. The juxtaposition of life in the Soviet Union and life in Cuba is a fascinating approach. They are so intertwined and so often ignored these days with Cuba awakening." Wloczewski I purchased this book after visiting a gallery of Michal’s related work in Carmel, CA a few years ago. Seeing the photographs in the gallery and now owning them in a book is one thing. Getting a history lesson regarding the Castro-Soviet Union connection is something else. I am more than pleasantly surprised with this book as a whole. This book appears to be result of a personal project of Michal’s (I’m only assuming) given his time in Russia as a student in the 60’s and then his visit to Cuba in 2011. The photographs and commentary tell the story that should be read and truly understood by all as the US and Cuba relations are enhanced. The photographs (of Michal’s and others) display such warm emotion and the realism of the Cuban people in their everyday lives. I found myself studying the images, not only the details of the main subjects but the surrounding environments.Thank you for taking us along for your journey back through time and back again. I now feel the need to make my own personal plans to visit Cuba n the coming years. If you do not already engage in lectures regarding the history of Cuba, you should consider doing so. Well done, Michal McClure, well done.

O'Connor In recent years, dozens of books have been written about Castro's Cuba, primarily it's history, economic structure, and travel tips for visitors. This book is arguably the best summary for anyone who is simply curious about life in the small, neighboring country that was initially viewed as an example of the threatening spread of communism and later as an mysterious and impoverished nation that was out of touch with the modern world. Michal McClure relies primarily on his exquisite photographs and short captions to provide a clear snapshot of contemporary Cuban life. He was in Russia during Castro's 40-day visit in 1963 , and devotes the first half of the book to photos and brief but informative narratives that portray the Russian economy and way of life. Even though Russia was a world power back then and its citizens enjoyed benefits such as free education and health care, the readers of this book might wonder why Castro chose to model Cuba's economy after Russia's.

Striking Visual Portrait of Cuba and Its People By Beverly As the US moves into a renewed relationship with Cuba, there is a lot to discover. and rediscover. Cuba Awakening from the Past provides a visual tour as you explore Cuba with Michal McClure. His strong but lovely portrayal of the island nation and its people brings their story alive through colorful images of what Cuba looks like today. It also includes an interesting history about past and present connections between Cuba and Russia. Excellent content, beautifully executed.

Humdrum isn’t where you live; it’s what you are. Perhaps you are one of those whose lives are bound by neighbourly interests. Imaginatively, you never seek what lies under a gorgeous sunset; you are never stirred by any longing to investigate the ends of rainbows. You are more concerned by what your neighbour does every day than by what he might do if he were suddenly spun, whirled, jolted out of his poky orbit. The blank door of an empty house never intrigues you; you enter blind alleys without thrilling in the least; you hear a cry in the night and impute it to some marauding tom. Lord, what a life!

Across A Deadly Field: The War in the West, by John Hill

About the Author In the field of tactical wargame designs, few designers have had as much impact as John Hill. In the 1970s, John started his own company to design and publish tactical and operational games that broke from traditional wargame mechanics. Realizing that he preferred designing wargames over running a business, John sold the company and became a freelance wargame designer. From then on, John's designs for Avalon Hill, SPI, SDC and others became noted for their innovative approaches to simulating unique tactical situations. In 1977, John designed Squad Leader for Avalon Hill. Squad Leader broke the mold for how tactical combat was portrayed on the gaming board, and its impact is still felt today. The first freelance wargame designer inducted into the Origins Hall of Fame, John is perhaps best known for his Johnny Reb rules for the American Civil War. The author lives in Santa Fe, NM.

It uses 2- and 3-stand regiments and allows very large actions to be played out on the table while still operating from a regimental tactical system, but for all intents and purposes is a brigade-level game (regiments have to operate within the brigade structure to be effective in this game). The rules themselves are very well laid out and illustrated. While I would have preferred a more "Case, Sub-Case" layout, Osprey uses bolded headers, with rules beneath. There is quite a bit of rules repetition which is good, since it helps the rules sink in. From *only* reading the rules, it's hard to conceptualize how play works, but once you get a couple of regiments on the table and try to start maneuvering it all falls into place.John Hill (the author/designer) states in the foreword that he was not permitted to include other bits -- the design had to be a book only. Though it's not said, I think that perhaps Mr. Hill would have liked to incorporate order chits for this design. I have only played it in a limited, solitaire, small-scale fashion, but these seem to be really good rules for larger battles. There is a plethora of charts and remembering which rules apply when is a bit a problem right now; but, I suspect that they will be quickly internalized and not be much of a problem at all.One of the major complaints with Johnny Reb was the charge/counter-charge/resolve charge systems. This has been simplified in this game, but will still probably have you reaching for the rulebook the first few times you have charges. I have always felt that the complicated charge system from Johnny Reb (and the simplified, but still somewhat complicated system for ADF) produces historically plausible results in a much more simulative way than other ACW miniatures games.I think this is an excellent ruleset, and the Osprey production quality is simply brilliant.I plan on painting and basing my regiments using 6mm figures, but using 15mm rules (4 figs = 1 fig for combat losses).Huzzah for Mr Hill. Thanks for continuing to share with us your game design talents.

A useful addition to the Civil War gamer's library By Dan 'Berli' Brown The publisher of these books seems completely incapable of giving accurate descriptions of the book contents. While this one's description is nowhere nears as misleading as War in the East, it still falls short. From the description: "Battles such as Shiloh, Stone River, Vicksburg, Chickamauga, Chattanooga and Atlanta are presented in great detail, offering players of Across a Deadly Field not only a range of scenario options, but the ability to play through a full campaign."What the book actually contains is:Four scenarios covering the first day of Shiloh (Apr 6, 1862)One scenario covering Champion Hill, part of the Vicksburg campaign (May 16, 1863)One scenario covering Pickett's Mill, part of the Atlanta campaign (May 27, 1864)Two scenarios covering Nashville (Dec 15, 1864)So, no love for Stones River, Chickamauga, or Chattanooga. As for "the ability to play through a full campaign," while the rules are certainly capable of it, you'll find no help in that endeavor in this book.Ok, with that said, this is an excellent resource for the actions covered. This book is worth owning if you have an interest in the Western Theater, regardless of whether or not you use the Across a Deadly Field rules. Each scenario is given a decent background, detailed order of battle, and a detailed map. I'd recommend this book to any Civil War gamer.

They play very intuitively and allow the gamer to play big, army level battles in a reasonable amount of time. One nice aspect of ADF is that even though the focus is on the "big battles", players can still play with, and focus on the actions of individual regiments. The rules work well with any scale figures and have enough basing options to accommodate just about any basing scheme. I play with 10mm two stand units, 15mm three and four stand units, and two stand 25mm units. The rules are historically accurate in my opinion, and very learnable. There are also many optional rules to allow the gamer to suit the game to their taste.John has a couple of scenario books coming out soon for ADF too. This is is a quality book from Osprey full of great pairings and miniatures pictures. It will be a great addition to the collection of any ACW miniature gamer! Cory R

Natural Order evolved from the heart of deeply spiritual writer, Ali Akhyari. A true lover of nature, he is influenced by his own search for answers to questions of morality, humanity, faith, and the perception of good versus evil. These short stories look at the ways we balance, or justify, life in modern society against the nagging, haunting knowledge of how we could live with a greater focus on the natural and spiritual world. It’s an interesting and rare approach on asking a reader to face questions he/she probably doesn’t want to answer, wrapped up in well-written tales of the human condition.

Each piece draws the imagination well past the outsider's viewpoint and into the smell of wet leaves and ancient dust, the sharp sound of flames smacking into water and the feel of worn cloth, stippled beard and uncomfortable sunlight. It's concepts also draw the mind beyond the base acceptance of things as they are and forces a glimpse into the harsh truth of how they could actually be. It's beautiful and dark, raw and emotive, and a true work of art unto itself.

Léon Blum (1872–1950), France’s prime minister three times, socialist activist, and courageous opponent of the pro-Nazi Vichy regime, profoundly altered French society. It is Blum who is responsible for France’s forty-hour week and its paid holidays, which were among the many reforms he championed as a deputy and as prime minister, while acting as a proudly visible Jew, a Zionist, and eventually a survivor of Buchenwald.   This biography fully integrates Blum’s Jewish commitments into the larger story of his life. Unlike previous biographies that downplay the significance of Blum’s Jewish heritage on his progressive politics, Pierre Birnbaum’s portrait depicts an extraordinary man whose political convictions were shaped and driven by his cultural background. The author powerfully demonstrates how Blum’s Jewishness was central to his outlook and mission, from his earliest entry into the political arena in reaction to the Dreyfus Affair, and how it sustained and motivated him throughout the remainder of his life. Birnbaum’s Léon Blum is a critical chapter in the larger history of Jews in France.

Léon Blum: Prime Minister, Socialist, Zionist (Jewish Lives), by Pierre Birnbaum

Review “Twenty years ago, Pierre Birnbaum wrote a brilliant Political History of State Jews in France, and now he has written a beautiful biography of the greatest of the state Jews. Léon Blum has never gotten the recognition he deserves as a French statesman, a socialist leader, and a proud Jew. That will change with this book.”—Michael Walzer, author of The Paradox of Liberation: Secular Revolutions and Religious Counterrevolutions (Michael Walzer)“A succinct, interesting, and compelling overview of the life of French politician and former Prime Minister Léon Blum. Pierre Birnbaum draws on a rich series of primary sources that bring Blum and his adversaries to life.”—Maud S. Mandel, author of Muslims and Jews in France: History of a Conflict (Maud S. Mandel)"The most concise of the authoritative biographies...It also makes clearer than the others how fully Blum assumed his Jewish identity, though in  a rationalist, universalist, and civic form that was essentially secular. Finally, Birnbaum's biography is the most personal so far."—Robert O. Paxton, New York Review of Books (Robert O. Paxton New York Review of Books)"Brief, eloquent, and beautifully translated . . . A valuable introduction and guide to one of the most important, if overlooked, figures in the history of modern France and, indeed, modern Europe."—James McAuley and Patrice Higonnet, New Republic (James McAuley and Patrice Higonnet New Republic)"[Blum's] importance for an understanding of modern France is lucidly summarized in Pierre Birnbaum’s Léon Blum: Prime Minister, Socialist, Zionist."—Frederick Brown, Wall Street Journal (Frederick Brown Wall Street Journal)“Birbaum has drawn a sharp portrait that centres on Blum’s Jewishness… It is indeed timely that the Yale Jewish Lives series should have commissioned this wonderful, readable book, with the impressive Arthur Goldhammer responsible, as with many other recent French histories, for a clear and fluent translation.”—Julian Wright, TLS.  (Julian Wright TLS 2015-09-11)"Illuminating . . . Birnbaum's insightful account allows readers to consider the comparison between today's anti-Semitism and that of an earlier era and opens up new ways of thinking about the present."—Foreign Affairs (Foreign Affairs)“…a surprisingly human portrait of the Zionist socialist and three-time prime minister of France.”—Melody Amsel-Arieli, Segula (Melody Amsel-Arieli Segula 2015-12-01)

About the Author One of France’s most eminent political sociologists, Pierre Birnbaum is professor emeritus at the Sorbonne. He is the author or co-author of seventeen books, including Anti-Semitism in France, The Jews of the Republic, and Geography of Hope. He is co-editor, with Ira Katznelson, of Paths for Emancipation.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A Good Man who lived through tough circumstances. By artist This is and interesting book about a very interesting person. I must say the beginning was a little convoluted but it gets better as you read on. The difference between the socialists and communists was huge but they all got together to try and save France during the Occupation of the north and to try and work out a way to save the country after the war was over. Leon became more Zionistic over the years and his years in Buchenwald although not explained fully were certainly better then any other Jew's experience there. He was very French and cared about the country the people and the land.

Highly informative By MRP444 Disclaimer: I lack familiarity with Blum's overall background (Socialism, European anti-semitism, the Dreyfuss affair) so will address and reread. Found myself making sorties to the internet for brief overview of people and events. The student will appreciate the road map to original source material.Excellent treatment of a gifted individual of tremendous insight & character. Helped me begin to grasp the subtleties of Socialism and the schism in the interwar period.

The only book of its kind to tell the history of baseball, from its inception to the present day, through 100 key objects that represent the major milestones, evolutionary events, and larger-than-life personalities that make up the game A History of Baseball in 100 Objects is a visual and historical record of the game as told through essential documents, letters, photographs, equipment, memorabilia, food and drink, merchandise and media items, and relics of popular culture, each of which represents the history and evolution of the game. Among these objects are the original ordinance banning baseball in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, in 1791 (the earliest known reference to the game in America); the "By-laws and Rules of the Knickerbocker Base Ball Club," 1845 (the first codified rules of the game); Fred Thayer's catcher's mask from the 1870s (the first use of this equipment in the game); a scorecard from the 1903 World Series (the first World Series); Grantland Rice's typewriter (the role of sportswriters in making baseball the national pastime); Babe Ruth's bat, circa 1927 (the emergence of the long ball); Pittsburgh Crawford's team bus, 1935 (the Negro Leagues); Jackie Robinson's Montreal Royals uniform, 1946 (the breaking of the color barrier); a ticket stub from the 1951 Giants-Dodgers playoff game and Bobby Thomson's "Shot Heard 'Round The World" (one of baseball's iconic moments); Sandy Koufax's Cy Young Award, 1963 (the era of dominant pitchers); a "Reggie!" candy bar, 1978 (the modern player as media star); Rickey Henderson's shoes, 1982 (baseball's all-time-greatest base stealer); the original architect's drawing for Oriole Park at Camden Yards (the ballpark renaissance of the 1990s); and Barry Bond's record-breaking bat (the age of Performance Enhancing Drugs). A full-page photograph of the object is accompanied by lively text that describes the historical significance of the object and its connection to baseball's history, as well as additional stories and information about that particular period in the history of the game.

The Horrors of the Holocaust from a Different Angle

Few can deny that the holocaust was a shameful event in history. Countless books have been written on the subject. Movies have documented and memorialized some of the best people in the worst moments of WWII and the eradication of millions of people. What they don’t tell us about is the view from the perpetrators. Until now. This book is not meant to glorify those that committed these acts but to simply tell history from their side of the story. The events in this book aren’t glamorous. There is no flag waiving for Hitler, just the facts from a different angle. Learn more about why the German people were so quick to jump on the bandwagon. Why were so many good people willing to believe the worst about their fellow man? Find out what the turning point was that turned an idea into a law. What started out as a sentiment turned into a legal right of the people. If it’s a law than it must be ok. Right? Find out what happened to make many people believe that. Read more about the other groups persecuted by the Nazi’s. We typically are familiar with the atrocities committed against the Jewish people and POWs but there is little said about the other groups that were targeted. Hat other groups did Hitler want to eradicate? This book takes a rare look at what turns the average citizen into a racist killer. History needs to be told from all sides. Read more about this side and grab your copy of this book today.

Comments From Other Readers

“It’s hard to read about things like this. We’d like to believe that these people are born killers, that they were all mad. That’s hardly the truth though. Some were forced into it while others were glad for the cause. This book brings that to light. Well written and easily digestible, this book is ideal for the young scholar or for those that are unfamiliar with this portion of history. I found it intriguing and saddening but well worth the read” – Greg (Manchester, UK). “My grandfather fought in WWII. He spoke little about it before he passed away so I read what I can find. I’ll admit that I don’t always have the time to dive into large books. This book was perfect. There’s a saying that history is told by the victor. There’s truth to that. We’re often afraid to look at the losers side but in this case I think it needs to happen. It was difficult to read about these things but it needs to be told.” - Sophie (Utah, US) Tags: World War II, WWII, World War 2, Holocaust, Jewish, Jews, concentration camps, death camps, Auschwitz, Birkenau, Auschwitz-Birkenau, World War Two,, Nazi, concentration camps, Auschwitz, Jewish, Auschwitz escape, Holocaust, Auschwitz concentration camp, German SS, Final Solution to the jewish question, Nazi Germany, gas chambers, jewish, jews, voices from the death camp, history, a doctor's eyewitness account, extermination camp, third reich, Adolf hitler, liberation, Rudolf Hoss, viktor frankl, man's search for meaning, Death dealer, World War 2, WW2

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Interesting perspectives! By mint tea This book surprised me because it was written from a more or less German point of view. However, it is done so in a polite way and does a great job of laying out all the facts and separating the information from views that may or may not have been based in reality. Writing the book like that gives you insight into different types of journals and pictures that are not usually shown but offer many further details, especially about how some of the worst offenders were viewed and hailed. I would recommend this book to people that are interested in 20th century history and wars.

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Holocaust: German Perspective By Bayon Jose This book got some really interesting stories, I have read several books about Holocaust, most of them just talk about the horror that the prisoners faced, but in this book, the author explains things from Germans perspective. Instead of poisoner stories, the author talk about the nazi jail wardens. Which was a totally new perspective for me, the book seemed like a whole new level. And I enjoyed it a lot. If you love reading about World War history, this is a must read book.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Packed with facts By Isabella A solid overview of the terrible beginnings of WWII. Regardless of one’s prior knowledge, one is sure to gain a better understanding of the events leading up to the war. Jenkins delivers various inmate accounts, bringing the horrors of the Auschwitz camp to life. This book is packed with information, perfect as a reference but an easily manageable read. Would recommend this book to anyone with even a casual interest in WWII.

How to get your product seen on the search engines By Denniger Bolton I’ve never sold anything on Etsy but this book by Sarah Moore gives me more information about having a product and actually getting that produce seen by potential buyers. I find though that a seller needs to be ranked high with Google as well as with Etsy. Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, is what drives a buy to your site and the only way to reach the top especially on Good is to have quality content and this book gives us ways to do just that. We need to be the most relevant product when a buyer searchs our site. Some hints from the author that I had not even considered are to be clever with your username or shop name since Google and its web crawler will pick that up. Description still matters as does keywords. The author also covers promoted listings which are pay by the click ads and that will help get you noticed as well. The SEO information is good for use in other sites too and not just Etsy, so that’s a bonus.

By Johnnytor I heard about Etsy around a year ago but I didn’t give any much attention into it since I was a bit skeptical on the affectivity of the platform. As an entrepreneur who sells vintage items, I’m always keen on choosing the e-commerce site I put my stocks up for sale. I’m a Ebay and Amazon guy to be honest…but a friend told me to give Etsy a try. And so I did…and I saw great potential on the site but I really need something like a crush course for Etsy. It’s a good thing I found this book and I was instantly hooked on the vast amount of simple yet in-depth information it offered. For every online entrepreneur, an effective SEO is really a must if you want your products to be seen even in Etsy. This book will help you on how to put your products on the front line in the vast item listing available in Etsy. It worked for me….and I know this will work for you too.
