About the Author Jeff Dickinson has been a raft guide on the Hudson River since 1998. He has spent a lifetime in the outdoors, growing up in a camping family before working in the outdoor education field for many years leading wilderness trips and interpretive walks. He graduated from SUNY Cortland with degrees in physical education and recreation.
