About the Author After a career in nonfiction writing and copyediting, Diana Morley moved to Oregon, where she enjoys both hiking outdoors and writing poetry. She and her family adopted several dogs over the years, which gave rise to curiosity about how they view us and to this story.

By Cheeky Abby "Something to Howl About" was totally engaging - both the creative, fresh story line and the main character. It was funny in parts - poignant in other parts and even upsetting in still other parts. I totally "bought" the idea of Trinidad, the talking dog - and fell in love with her - following her through good times and bad. Whether you're a dog-lover or not - you'll be hooked on this well-written gem right to the end!

By Dorothea Hatch In "Something to Howl About," we experience ourselves through the eyes of a touching insightful dog, Trinidad, and her canine friend, Stanley. Their everyday dog lives and reflections on their owners let us explore who we are. It is a story filled with rich textures of sights, smells and sounds. Be sure to have a box of tissues nearby when you read the beautiful ending.
