About the Author Martin R. Phillips is an extremely passionate historian, archaeologist, and most recently a writer. Ever since Martin was a young boy he has been fascinated with ancient cultures and civilizations. In 1990, Martin graduated with distinction from the University of Cambridge with a double major in History and Archaeology. Upon graduation, Martin worked as an archeologist and travelled the world working in various excavation sites. Over the years, while working as an archaeologist, Martin became very well cultured and gained great insights into some of the most historic civilizations to ever exist. This first hand insight into the ancient cultures of the world is what sparked Martin's newest passion, history writing and story telling. In 2012, Martin decided to retire from archeology to focus on writing. Over the years he has seen and experienced a great deal of fascinating things from all over world. Martin now spends the majority of his free time putting all of his research, experience, and thoughts onto paper in an attempt to share his knowledge of the ancient cultures with the world. Over the past few years Martin has excelled in his writings. His narrative style has a way of combining the cold hard facts with a story teller's intrigue which makes for an excellent reading experience. The Secrets of Ancient Greece By Vanessa Waldorf This recently published eBook of author Martin Phillips, Ancient Greece: Discover the Secrets of Ancient Greece (Greek Mythology, Greek Gods, Greek History, Greece, Ancient Civilizations, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Ancient Greece, Titans, Gods, Zeus), is an excellent resource to students as well as professors from the academe. It is complete on the historical introduction of Ancient Greece, while the author takes his readers into a voyage through time with his clear explanations to which period, era and age a particular civilization actually existed in Ancient Greece. Kudos to author Martin Phillips for this impressive literary work.

The author does a great job compiling the most important information about ancient Greece using a clear, solid, engaging narrative style. I love history, especially Greek history, so when I saw this book it was love at first sight. Is one of the best book I read in the last years as it is short but full of useful information; in addition it is a very actual book, with renovated information. All you need to know about this intriguing civilization is here! Simply outstanding!

David Greece’s history, mythology, culture etc. had a great impact to almost everything that we have today, especially its philosophy, I think it did influence our modern science, modern philosophy and literature. From what I have learned Ancient Greece is where ‘Western Civilization’ began, since it is when new ideas for government, science, philosophy, religion and art were developed. I thank this book that it broaden my knowledge about this subject most particularly on Philosophy which is my favorite part. I liked that the author also highlighted some of the theories or philosophies of the Greek Philosophers like Socrates, Plato and Aristotle.This book brought me to a wonderful journey through Ancient Greece from which I learned a lot. It is packed with information that would leave you a little more knowledgeable about history, if you are up to gaining more understanding of Ancient Greece, this book is for you.
